As a Lead Generation Specialist you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities for our solutions sales team by conducting high level conversations with senior executives about their business operations. You must be strongly motivated, goal-driven, tenacious without being aggressive, have strong technical aptitude, exceptional research and profiling skills.
Role:
- Target organizations by making 65-100 prospecting calls per day
- Manage a geographic territory in the USA or Canada
- Identify the most appropriate decision maker (Director, Manager, VP or C-Level)
- Profile prospects to develop an understanding of their security and compliance requirements
- Positively position Messaging Architects products in relation the prospect's needs
- Effectively pass leads to the sales team
Qualifications/Skills:
To be successful in this position you will need to be/have:
- Energetic, conscientious, and enthusiastic persona with problem solving skills
- Great verbal and written communication skills in English
- Passionate about helping clients make the best possible decision
- Show proven track record of over-achieving targets with a team-player mindset
- Independent, self-motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision
- Have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Desirable:
- University degree in marketing, business or related field
- One year's experience in customer service or sales role
- Knowledge of computer applications such as: MS-Office, Internet Explorer, Salesforce.com
